Our Friend, the History Guy, DAN BUCHANAN, is author of a number of books relating to the history of this area.  One is the detailed story of one of The Heinous, The Heroic & The High Flyers, namely Dr. William King.  Dr. King was the last person executed in Northumberland.  After he was found guilty at trial, he did admit to having dispatched his wife by poison.  Thousands of fascinated citizens attended his public execution.

Dan will share his own adventures researching the book, Murder In The Family.  Copies will be available for puchase.
